4/26/2008 "Sugar Bear Express" Our miracle baby! Not for sale
Sire: QHR Sugarman Express (Lenas Sugarman x Peppy Zan Express) Dam: A Little Whiskey (Smart Little Jerry x Whiskey Queen)
Incredible filly, Red Roan... with her dads' flaxen mane and tail. This filly carrries Sabino & rabicano genes. Took 3 hours to deliver, as she decided to come out upside down and head only with her legs locked backwards behind moms hips. After excepting that we would be loosing the momma & filly, our vet put the mare totally to sleep and the 3 of us pulled Sugar Bear out and after a few minutes this "dead" baby took a huge breath & she started breathing and was fixing to get up. Momma woke up about 1/2 hour later and was thrilled to see her baby running around the stall.
Both are doing great and are very excited to be here. This baby is truly one of Gods many miracles! And what a wonderful baby it is.
